What we welcome

We are interested in evergreen stories that help readers understand a place, tradition or pastime, as well as thoughtful comparisons and adaptable plans for time off. Pitches should have a distinct subject and a reason it matters to a curious general reader.

What makes a strong pitch

Describe the central idea, the approach you would take and the main points the finished piece would explain. Include any relevant experience or sources you would draw on, but do not claim access or expertise you do not have.
